About Me

Welcome to  “filosofía natural.”

My name is Tanvi, and I am an A-Level student currently residing in the UK – the subjects I am taking are Maths, Further Maths, Physics & Spanish.

I am using the opportunity given to me during my high school education to create a blog that truly encompasses my interests; physics and philosophy. I am using this medium to both document visits to places related to these two topics, as well as express myself freely in the form of critical articles and in-depth analyses.

My focus currently lies in particle physics, though this will change as time progresses. The insides of an atom is intriguing – though that is what each and every one of us are made up of, it is far more complex than any of us can even fathom. Though during GCSEs we learnt about the nucleus, composed of the proton and neutron, and the electrons that orbit it, we are not told about quarks; leptons; neutrinos. We are not told that an atom isn’t as simple as the Rutherford-Bohr model makes it out to be, and I intend to find out more.

I hope you find something of interest to you in this blog. I feel that it is thanks only to physics and philosophy that the world is how it is today – such that the term Natural Philosophy states:

“the philosophical study of nature and the physical universe”
